In the 1990s the main body of files of the House Select Committee on
Assassinatons, the so-called "numbered files", were released to the public record.
The Assassination Records Review Board found several surprises buried in this voluminous
set of boxes, including suppression of medical interviews which contradicted the
findings of the HSCA's medical panel. The numbered files collection so far exists
nowhere except at the National Archives - this electronic archive is meant to present
only a very few highlights from that set.
